 | About The Online Selling Association
The Online Selling Association (OSA) is a membership group created with you, the online seller, in mind. Developed as a unique place to bring together the many areas necessary to support online selling, it offers a single point of focus on your journey of success. The Online Selling Association website provides powerful resources and a place where you can share with other like-minded members. You can explore established concepts and new ideas. You can experience and learn with others as you begin, or continue, to develop and build your online business operations. Whether you offer, or will offer, products, services, or both, through your own online business the Online Selling Association is for you.
You may be at the beginning of your online experience, looking to establish your own e-commerce business. You may already sell online but you are still concerned about your business growth, marketplace fluctuations, or the economy. You may be an experienced professional with a lot to share, but you also have more to learn and explore. Whatever your current situation the Online Selling Association provides an extensive, ever expanding, resource covering a wide range of topics, services, tools, and links for anyone with their own online business.

There are no quotas. No presure is applied to you. There are no requirement to post in forums. You can be as active as you wish or just lurk quietly in the background. Either way you will find a treasure trove of useful information, ideas, suggestions and other help here on this site. As an OSA member you will have access to it all. Take what you need. Visit as often as you wish. Participate only as much as makes you comfortable. The Online Selling Association is designed with you, the online seller, in mind.
Founded by the Rev. Stephen B. Henry, PhD., an online business professional with years of experience, the Online Selling Association brings together, under a single virtual umbrella, the single largest, and fastest growing, resource featuring professional information, reference materials, and personal assistance, focused on supporting the individual online business person. No other place has this material gathered together in a single resource.
Rev. Stephen B. Henry, PhD, Known online as the HTML Wizard, or just the Wiz for short, Steve is an experienced website designer and business professional who has been creating eBay listing templates, me pages, websites, and more, for individuals and businesses all over the world. He has been providing the very best quality online products and services for nearly 20 years.
The Wiz works daily with HTML, PHP, MySQL, and graphic design, has owned his own Internet service provider (ISP) companies, is a former eBay Power Seller, and currently operates a successful website design and e-commerce consulting business. Using the power of the Internet his enterprise now spans the globe with clients and customers across the U.S. and in Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Japan, Thailand, Israel, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Republics, Pakistan, and India to name just a few.
With a great deal of help from his friends and professional associates he has created the Online Sellers Association to provide a base for the many individuals, like yourself, who need help, support, information and ideas in order to find success with their online businesses, whether your desire is to be local, national, or international. The Wiz is committed to providing a single resource that will gather together the information and tools, and provide a base for learning, exploring, developing, and succeeding!
The Online Selling Association will always be a work in progress. The field of e-commerce is in constant flux and the needs of online sellers are constantly changing. To deal with that change new resources will be added and updated here regularly, almost daily. Some information is sourced from the Internet, saving you hours of research. Other content is developed exclusively by skilled professionals, just for this site, meaning it is available nowhere else. That combination makes this site your single best resource website on the Internet. You will be able to quickly find information you need, as well as receive personal help on individual issues, that could otherwise cost you hundreds, even thousands, of dollars elsewhere.
Helping to develop this website content, and bring other aspects of the Online Selling Association forward, is an impressive Board of Directors. Each of the board members bring their personal and online business experience to the table. Each is a seasoned professional, and a team player, with many years of experience and success. Many of the articles on this website reflect that experience and the ideas, and the concepts, behind this expertise.
We proudly present our current OSA Board of Directors:
Country Joe, Owner: Country Joe's Collectible Stuff
Originally from Staten Island, N.Y. where he started doing Saturday flea markets in the 60's; the days when lots o'stuff was available. In the mid 70's Joe moved to New Jersey frequenting markets just about everyday of the week. He dealt in general collectibles, small antiques, political buttons and coins until the mid 80's. Then he started to get into more vintage kitchen collectibles, country and advertising related lines, along with small antiques. He also sold baseball cards for a few years.
In 1989 Country Joe's collectibles shop, located in a flea market in central N.J., burned down and it was, "Start all over!" so Joe started a live consignment auction in the early 1990's which is still going today. In the late 90's Joe started selling online and doing the flea markets. He had a few mall stores but they just weren't what he wanted so he built his own online shop and put time into learning SEO and promoting them.
Joe slowed down a little for a couple of years due to a few bouts with cancer but he is now back in action. He has one main store online at the moment and a few smaller ventures going. "I seem to have gotten into a more general line of collectibles," Joe says, "but the main line is still vintage kitchenware, advertising collectibles, vintage safety razors, country collectibles, vintage postcards and paper."
Nancy Oram, President: The Nancy Oram Group A self-employed WAHM for over 30 years, Nancy took her business online in the 90s and never looked back. She describes herself now as an internet entrepreneur, engaged in a variety of online businesses. Never content with just one focus, she maintains a number of websites and mini-sites, testing the best ways to make a serious income online.
Nancy's mother knew she was the entrepreneurial type when she found her with a card table in the front yard selling her old toys at the age of six. Nancy has long since traded her card table for a web browser but continues to work that same entrepreneurial spirit daily.
There have been both successes and failures over the years but the general trend has been positive. With each new step Nancy has learned more, gained more, experienced more, and she is prepared to share that experience with others.
Tina Sutherland, Owner: What-I-Found Sewing Patterns Tina has been selling online since 1999, first as a side line for her brick and mortar antique stores in Seattle. After deciding to join her husband on the road, she sold that business and has been selling online full time, concentrating on her store at Main Street Mall Online. She has her focus on this one outlet, and spends lots of time looking at the various other ways to promote the single site.
Tina is especially interested in ways to promote that are free and/or easy, but bring quality customers. The success of her business suggests she is doing something right!
"Because I'm a 52 year old grandmother," Tina says, "and I spent too many years being an RN (when I could have been getting tech savvy!), I like my computer stuff explained to me in clear, simple terms, broken down so that I can figure things out without having to ask my kids." Sometimes it takes a few tries, but once Tina has it down to a pattern she is eager to share it with others. "If I can understand it," she says, "anybody can."
Tina and her husband live and travel across the country full time in their RV. As a result Tina has a small world view: "Nobody has less work space than me!" and a large world view: "We go to places you've never heard of." Tina is happy to talk about all of it.
